Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick zu den Entwicklungschancen und den Risiken der Nanotechnologie. Er ist Ausfluss eines ersten nationalen Stakeholderdialogs, der im Oktober 2005 vom BMU durchgeführt wurde. Es werden Empfehlungen für die weitere Risikokommunikation gegeben.

This article provides an overview on the opportunities and risks of nanotechnology. It is the outcome of a first national stakeholder dialogue carried out by the Federal Environment Ministry in October 2005. Recommendations are provided for further risk communication.
