 | 6 LCA (6) 2001 | | Two focuses of this edition are illustrated.
1) Int J LCA has become the publication organ of ALCAS, the new
LCA Society in Australia (see the Editorial, pp 323-324).
2) On August 30, 2001, the first in a series of planned global
workshops on Life Cycle Management was organized in Copenhagen
by UNEP in cooperation with dk-TEKNIK. The workshop
provided an international forum to share experiences on LCM. The
specific purpose of the workshop was to define the focus of a
possible UNEP programme on Life Cycle Management under the
UNEP/SETAC Life Cycle Initiative (see the State-of-the-Art report,
pp 325-333).
Life Cycle Management was the theme of the conference held in
Copenhagen, August 27-29, 2001 (see the Conference Report
pp 384-390).
