 Since the days of Sesimbra in 1993 (Code of Practice), Walter Klöpffer has not only experienced the development of Life Cycle Assessment within SETAC, he has also influenced it, primarily through his journal, but not least by his various functions, lastly as SETAC Council Member. -- He is now looking forward to participating in the 5th SETAC World Congress in Sydney, Australia, 3-7 August 2008.
