Volatile Sesquiterpenes from Stachybotrys chartarum: Indicators for Trichothecene Producing Mold Species?

--- Trichodiene, a volatile sesquiterpene which is structurally related to trichothecene mycotoxins, has been identified in the headspace of growing Stachybotrys chartarum by GC/MS.
