The Internet-Gate 'Environmental and Health Science' (Gate to EHS) is an all online-journal.
Start of publication: 28 February 2002.

Gate to EHS complements the ScientificJournals in print and online (ESPR, Int.J.LCA, JSS, UWSF, UmweltmedForschPrax, Suchtmed). It provides an English-speaking publication forum to our German periodicals and extends our English-speaking journals by the possibilities, 1. to publish additional and background information, 2. to provide papers that are too comprehensive for a printed journal, while an executive summary can appear in the printed medium, 3. to publish papers that require the tool of the hypertext function. Gate to EHS is interdisciplinary and intercompartmental.

It is divided into four areas:
  1. Environmental Science
  2. Life Cycle Management
  3. Environmental Information and Communication
  4. Environmental Regulation and Legislation

Once Gate to EHS has been built up, these areas can be split into individual Internet-Journals under the joint roof of Gate to EHS.
