From 1998, the full texts of all articles of the ScientificJournals are available online (WebEditions). Articles prior to 1998 are available for free by way of the abstracts and tables of contents. |
Free access | You can enter the four Online-Editions (OnlineFirst, WebEditions, Subject Index, Author Index) of each individual journal without either Password or IP address as long as you want to view the tables of contents, abstracts, and articles designed for free (*). |
Password access | You need Password or IP address to call up the full texts. The password (PW) is the six-digit order number of your subscription as long as it concerns the combination of the printed and online version of the journal or the online-only version. As soon as you have entered the subscription (go to the subscription form of the journal's homepage), our subscription service jutta.mueller@de.rhenus.com will inform you of the PW. The PW is your personal license number and must not be passed on to others. Consequently, the library must not disseminate it via the home page. Only one and not multiple accesses are simultaneously possible. |
IP (Internet Protocol) access (institutional access) | You need IP address or Password to call up the full texts. The IP access includes the printed and the online version of the journal. This access works via the IP address of your computer and, thus, needs no password. There are two modes of IP access:
1. Limited access: This IP license includes up to three users, which means that up to three persons from the same institution which is situated in the same location (town) can have access to the full texts. Subscription price: print subscription plus 30%.
2. Unlimited access: Subscription price: the threefold rate of the print subscription. As soon as the IP address has been set up, the IP access is available. Please apply for the IP access at and indicate jutta.mueller@de.rhenus.com whether you want to order a limited or unlimited access. |
Format of the online documents | You can read the article as PDF (portable document format). Required for this feature, however, is that Acrobat Reader Version 4.0 be installed on your hard drive. This program can also be downloaded here (free of charge) if necessary. |
Reproduction | You are allowed to print and distribute hardcopies strictly for your personal use only. You can also download the articles but you are not allowed to distribute them in any electronic form. |
Cancellation | After having cancelled your subscription, you will no longer be able to access the past online editions (neither via password nor by way of the IP address). |
