Starting 2006, Ulrich Förstner is Editor-in-Chief of the JSS area SEDIMENTS.
Ulrich Förstner is professor of Environmental Science and Engineering. Since 1982 he is director of the Department of Environmental Protection Technology (Umweltschutztechnik) at Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg.
His wider field of expertise is sustainable resource management for aquatic systems and soils, with special reference to geochemical engineering concepts such as subaqueous depots, inertization of waste products, controlled natural attenuation, and active barrier systems for contaminated sediments and solid wastes. |
