In 1992 finished her PhD in Statistics at the same university. She became Associate Professor of Applied Statistics in 1994. From 1997 she has been teaching Statistics in an Environmental Science degree. For the last years her work has been focusing on statistical methods for change detection in environmental observations. She is leader of a research group working in multivariate stochastic models. The group is involved in research projects to model variations of atmospheric pollutants in urban areas.
