Curriculum Vitae
Keping MA, Prof. & Ph.D., received his doctoral degree from the Northeast Forestry University in July 1991. From October 1991 to January 1994, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Botany, the Chinese Academy Sciences (IBCAS).

He is currently the Deputy Director of the IBCAS, Secretary-General for China National Committee for Diversitas, Vice Chair and Secretary-General of the Biodiversity Committee of the Chinese Academy Sciences.

He also serves as a member of the Chinese National Committee of Human and Biosphere, member of the Scientific Committee of endangered species in China, member of DIWPA Steering Committee.

He is the Editor-in-Chief of Acta Phytoecologica Sinica, Associated Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Plant Integrative Biology, member of the editorial committee for Acta Ecologica Sinica and Biodiversity Science, Journal of Natural Resources, Acta Botanica Yunnanica, Chinese Journal of Applied and Environmental Biology, and Rural Eco-Environment.

He attended the 1st, 4th, 6th and 7th UN CBD Conferences as a Science Consultant of the Chinese government delegation. He has published more than 170 papers and books.

He is currently in charge of two ongoing projects on the plant specimen digitization and the ecology of invasive alien species.
