He presently works as head of a laboratory for inorganic and trace analysis which is specialised in the investigation of products and production resources for farmers (soils, plants, animal tissues, fertilisers, feeding stuff). The laboratory also serves as a central service laboratory for the University.
Research interests:
- Adaptation of innovative techniques for determination of elements and element species in agricultural products and product resources
- Contents and behaviour of elements in agricultural food chains
- Use of stable isotopes as tracers
- Geochemical dynamics of elements and their stable isotopes in biogeochemical systems
