Lillemor Gustavsson has a Master degree in Biology, Karlstad University 2001 and is a PhD student in Environmental Science at Örebro University from 2001.

The PhD-thesis covers biological degradation and change in toxicity of an industrial sludge containing explosives and pharmaceuticals using anaerobic digestion, composting, and wetland treatment.
