Dr. Barbara Nebel has studied Forestry at the Ludwig-Maximilans University in Munich. In 2002 she has completed her Ph.D. in Life Cycle Assessment of Floor Coverings at the Technical University in Munich.
She joined afterwards the Centre for Environmental Strategy, University of Surrey, as a research fellow. Barbara was there involved in the development of a postgraduate course on Environmental Life Cycle Management.
She has then taken up a position as senior scientist in the built environment team at Scion in Rotorua, New Zealand.
