Curriculum Vitae:
Anna-Lea Rantalainen is a PhD at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. During her PhD studies, she used passive samplers for investigating persistent organic pollutants (POPs), such as dioxins, PCBs and pesticides in the environment (air, soil, water and sediment). Due to her experience in environmental analytical chemistry, she analysed the properties of musk compounds by gas chromatography, see the article ´Temperature Dependent Properties of Environmentally Important Synthetic Musks´ (DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.1065/espr2001.09.092). At present, she is working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Ecological and Environmental Sciences, University of Helsinki, Lahti, Finland.
