Curriculum vitae:Dr.-Ing. Andreas Ciroth studied environmental engineering and chemical engineering at the TU Berlin from 1989 - 1998, and worked as an environmental statistician during his studies.

He finished his dissertation on error propagation in LCAs in 2001, at the TU Berlin, worked since then as consultant, and founded GreenDeltaTC GmbH in 2004, is director since then, and is working in the field of Life Cycle Analyses (Life Cycle Assessments, Life Cycle Costing), consulting, and software design (tools, databases, websites).

SPECIAL INTERESTS:
sound and efficient decision support; the use of software tools to help humans; data quality, review of datasets and of scientific studies, uncertainties in data, decision making under uncertainty, verification and validation.

Andreas Ciroth is member of the Editorial Board of Int J LCA, and Subject Editor for ´Uncertainties in LCAs´.
He is also member of the UNEP SETAC Task Forces on Methodological Consistency, and on Databases and Capacity Building.
